Dr Genevieve Osborne is a Consultant Dermatologist based in Bristol, with 20 years of experience in the field.
She provides specialist care for children and adults with all skin conditions from acne, eczema and skin cancers to complex skin diseases that can affect other organ systems. She has an approachable style and after a thorough assessment, she provides advice and medical or surgical treatments.
Dr Osborne graduated from Southampton University. She trained as a Dermatology Specialist at the highly regarded national centre of St John’s Institute of Dermatology, based at St Thomas’s Hospital, London and Kings’s College Hospital, London.
From 2003 Dr Osborne worked as an NHS Consultant Dermatologist at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, London where she was Lead Clinician of the Dermatology Department and Lead of the Skin Cancer Multi-disciplinary Team. After moving to Bristol in 2016, she now works as an NHS Consultant Dermatologist at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
She holds general adult and paediatric dermatology clinics, skin cancer clinics as well as specialist clinics for skin conditions arising in systemic diseases. She is an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Bristol, teaching medical under-graduates, post-graduates and general practitioners.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Physicians and a member of the following organisations: British Association of Dermatologists; British Society of Paediatric Dermatology; British Society of Medical Dermatology; British Medical Association and the Royal Society of Medicine.
